There is something about her that makes me feel uncomfortable… I guess it’s her look – hardly human-like. I found a favourable review of her new album ‘Hurricane’ on Pitchfork and I decided to watch the music video of the first single from the album. Yes, Grace Jones returns after 20 years.
Pitchfork notices that ”Hurricane’ sometimes sounds like a tribute or lost sequel to Massive Attack’s ‘Mezzanine”. I’ve listened to just one track from Jones’ album so far, but if the other tracks are alike, ‘Mezzanine’ is a cheerful sunny album compared to ‘Hurricane’…

she is in her late sixties, but she’s never been better! ‘Corporate Cannibal’ is..soo disturbing, video’s amazing, original, lyrics – simply great!
